As a Mobile Automation engineer/SDET, this team member will be working as a developer for various automation projects including but not limited to performance testing, automating API testing, automating UI testing, developing various tools and frameworks. They must have the skills needed to understand the business process flow, and model the functional, performance/load test scenarios, development of test scripts using various tools like XAMARIN, Appium, Calabash, Coded UI, Selenium, J-meter, Soasta’s Cloud Test, and any custom coded solution.
Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
• At least 8 years of experience developing test automation or combination of development and test automation with minimum 4 years in mobile space.
• Hands on experience in one or more major programming languages: JAVA, C#, C++, Ruby, Objective C, Swift.
• Good understanding of Mobile OS: IOS, Android.
• Strong experience on Automation frameworks design and development from scratch
• Hands on experience on test automation of customer mobile apps across IOS and Android platforms.
• Hands on experience in XAMARIN, Appium, Calabash, Selenium, Soap UI or similar tools
• Hands-on experience of developing scripts, designing test scenarios, test execution, monitoring, analyzing results and reporting results.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated QA experience in a SDET or QAE role.
• Proficient with developer tools and IDEs, such as Visual studio, XCode, Android Studio, Eclipse/IntelliJ.
• Experience working with any source control, preferably with GIT.
• Experience with unit, integration, performance and security testing is an advantage.
• Experience on deployment automation, continuous integration, build automation tools (VSTS, Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, Octopus) for mobile app and running test automation on the devices from CICD.
• Experience in implementing Test Driven Development.
• Ability to do effective communications with all stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Conversant with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
Wish to Have
• Experience working in Development with C#, ASP.NET or in Java environment.
• Experience in mobile development using XAMARIN, Visual Studio, XCODE, Android Studio.
• Experience with one of tools like Soasta’s CloudTest, JMeter, Blazemeter etc
• Experience in Airline Travel domain.
