The role will be responsible for:
1) Understand build process and existing build definitions in TFS
2 ) Elevation to the System Test and Production environments from the SCM Staging Repository.
3) Ensure same baselined build is deployed to higher environments (SYST and Prod).
4) Elevate Distributed Applications built in various technologies like Java, .NET, PEGA, WebMethod’s etc.
5) Ensure baselined code is build and deployed to various environments
6) Assist developers on resolving deployment issues in SYST and Production environments.
7) Notify appropriate audience on elevation status.
8) Update documentation in case of any change /improvement of existing SCM process, procedures and standards.
9) Support of the CCB by reviewing submitted elevation request forms for completeness before presenting them to the CCB and processing them subsequent to the CCB’s decision.
10 ) Creation and management of the SCM Staging Repository.
11 ) Recording of SCM actions and preparing SCM Reports/Metrics.
12 ) Provision of training and orientation in the use of the SCM software tool and SCM processes, procedures and standards.
