GIS Specialist

The Consultant will work as a technical lead with client
team to provide on-site technical leadership at Redlands, California.
Consultant will act as a project liaison between onsite team and offshore
production team. The Consultant duties will include the following:

Project data inventory and evaluation.

Project documentation and record keeping.

Project data management and organization.

Preparation for and participation in project
review meetings with clients.

Channel questions and/or issues from the
Offshore Production Team to onsite client team.

Perform QA/QC on the final deliverables

Perform production/test activities on projects

Review offshore production processes

Engage with offshore production team to improve
processes, establish schedules

conduct regular calls with offshore production
teams

Requirements:

Bachelor’s in computer science, geography, GIS,
MIS, or related field

Five or more years of professional experience
related to GIS data migration and data conversion.

Excellent
communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

Solid
experience in Esri software, particularly data interoperability extension,
geoprocessing tools, model builder workflows and spatial analysis

Experience
in python based tool development is a plus
