Lead Java Developer

Responsibilities:

Develop
/ enhance functionality for large web applications
using Core Java, Spring Framework (MVC, JDBC and Security), and Hibernate ORM.

Develop
micro services with SOAP / Restful API containing business logic and exposing
end point.

Develop JUnit
Tests as part of development effort and integrate applications with relational
databases (like MS SQL 2008 and above)

Work
with multiple versioning tools like Git, SVN

Work
independently (with minimal guidance) or on small teams to complete development
tasks.

Development
across the entire stack, including front-end, business-tier, and database-tier

Work in
scrum team in agile environment.

Lead and
provide guidance to the team

Required Skills:

8 +
years of experience in Java/J2EE technology and tools like Core Java, Spring
MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate ORM.

4+ years
of experience in producing and consuming Web Services like SOAP / Restful APIs

4+
experience in working with Relational databases ( like MS SQL 2008 above)

Client
side JS frameworks such JQuery or Angular JS and HTML5/CSS.

JUnit or
NG Testing and Mocking Frameworks

Exposure
to any one of the Application Servers like Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss.

Exposure to application being developed
in AWS

Must
have excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Desired Skills:

Working
knowledge with Jenkins or Sonar

Problem
solving skills with Data structures, algorithms, and design patterns

Agile
tools like Rally, JIRA

Experience
with Travel Domain
