Technical Writer

Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Communication, Professional Writing, or related field
· 4 or more years of technical writing experience;
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
· Insurance knowledge in one or more lines highly desired
· Experience with multiple insurance software such as rating, underwriting, broker management systems, claims processing; experience with Applied and/or competitor products a plus
· Exposure to any P C Insurance Platform, such as, Duck Creek (DCT), Guidewire, Policy Decisions, CSC is highly desirable
· Superior communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
· The ideal candidate is familiar with Agile and has experience writing for or within the Insurance industry;
· Object oriented programming experience, or understanding of software development

Additional responsibilities include:

· Use content tools to manage (publish, update) content for Insurance Carrier’s Digital Partners
· Work with cross-functional team to ensure all content is up-to-date, engaging, and relevant
· Ability to work within deadlines; able to manage concurrent projects of varying size and complexity
