As a Quality Assurance Professional, you will work in a fast paced software quality assurance environment
and will work directly with financial web applications.
In this hands-on quality assurance role, you will help NIIT Technologies to deliver the next generation lending experience for our clients.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
•Work as an individual contributor in support of project and on-going product release efforts
•Analyzing and testing defects reported by Client/Client Support team
•Responsible for identifying test scenarios based on the information provided in the Defect tracking tools
•Creating and Executing Regression test cases/End to End test cases for the Product
•Responsible for identifying, capturing, and managing system defects
•Maintaining/Updating Regression test suite based on enhancement and gaps in the existing one
•Raising Risk to management with respect to Quality and Schedule of release
•Help QA Lead to provide UAT Support to clients by directly working with them for the issues reported during UAT phase
•Collaborate with other functional teams (Client Support, Development, Integration and Business Analysts)
•Be proactive to take new initiative and drive it to completion
•Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent education in a related discipline is required
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in fast-paced software industry with an in-depth understanding of QA methodologies
Additional Skills/Knowledge:
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Strong team player yet able to work with minimum supervision
•Good SQL knowledge is must - should be able to write queries using different kind of joins.
•Familiarity with software development lifecycles
•ETL - should be familiar with Informatica tool.
•Experience Agile Methodologies.
•Working knowledge of front-end and back-end applications
•Working experience working with .NET Web based applications
•Experience using write queries in SQL Server Management Studio to perform database
Preferred Skills and Experience:
•Experience with Investment Banking
•QA certifications
