Job Description
The Citrix Architect would need to have at least 8-10 years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for designing and deploying a new Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp environment running on a VMware platform to support the growing needs of the organization.

- Execute the systems engineering lifecycle and provide consultative services regarding technology services to internal customers
- Design/architect Citrix solutions, as well as have the ability to identify potential issues and opportunities in the company systems
- Improve the existing VDI architecture through enhancements and incorporating new data feeds and products
- Assist in developing use cases in order to provide, situational awareness to ensure the health and scalability of the VDI implementation
- Analyze existing systems management tools and procedures, and when applicable leverage or integrate into Insight Center, Citrix Director, Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and NetScaler Command Center/MAS
- Define anticipated user types and roles, and maintain user access. Determine data storage policies/capabilities and impacts on VDI architecture and provide supporting documentation
Candidate need to have good experience in:
- XenApp Minimum v4.5 and later
- XenDesktop Minimum v5.5 and later
- Upgrade XenDesktop/XenApp to 7.XX
- Windows server 2003 and later
- Application Integration on a multi-user platform (Citrix)
- Citrix NetScaler/Advanced Access Gateway configuration
- Microsoft PowerShell scripting
Certifications:
- Current Citrix certifications for both XenApp and XenDesktop
