To keep the fun quotient high at NIIT Technologies, several activities are conducted regularly, which not only help in breaking the monotony but also in building the team spirit amongst the NIITians. An official Fun Manager at each location/region helps in planning and coordinating various engaging events.

Annual Day

A special day for all NIITians across the globe!! NIITians get together to celebrate success at NIIT Technologies, their accomplishments through the year, review the path forward and dreams to be achieved for the coming year. This is also a celebration of excellence where the best performers are felicitated for their accomplishments.

Festivities & Celebrations

NIITians celebrate events like Diwali, New Year, Holi, Halloween, and Valentine’s Day with gusto. In fact, just about any occasion is a good time for NIITians to get together and celebrate. In addition, fun events such as table tennis competitions, mouth-watering rasgulla-eating competitions, Funtakshari and dumb charades are routinely organized.

Offsites

Offsite offers a perfect platform for NIITians to bond with their team members in a fun way at a remote location away from office.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

Our CSR engagement revolves around four areas: Education, Employability, Infrastructure Enhancement, and Local Initiatives. The company supports NIIT University, a non-profit institution, with a view to provide quality education for meritorious students. The primary objective of the university is to promote learning and knowledge and to improve the quality of higher education around research, technology, and sustainability. NIIT Technologies is working closely with organizations like NIIT Foundation, Noida Deaf Society, and other partners to scale their CSR initiatives.

NIITians are encouraged to volunteer with various NGOs affiliated to the NIIT Foundation to work with underprivileged sections of the society.

CSR Leave

NIIT Technologies supports and encourages NIITians, who participate and contribute to social causes, by providing them four days of paid CSR leave to devote their time and efforts in supporting NGOs of their choice.

I-give Scheme

This platform allows NIITians to volunteer for and fund various initiatives to support the marginalized and underprivileged sections of the society. NIITians have always been at the forefront of supporting the rehabilitation of people affected by natural disasters.

NIITians have also generously volunteered their time to teach students in government schools and work with youth at various slum clusters to make them employment-ready.

Shiksha

In collaboration with NIIT Foundation, NIIT Technologies has recently launched a CSR initiative, “Shiksha,” a Career Development Center at Dankaur village in Greater Noida. This initiative intends to impart education, employability training, and digital literacy to the youth of Dankaur and nearby villages. It offers industry-specific courses such as Showroom Retail/ Food & Beverages/ Data Entry/ BPO. Soon it will introduce courses like Basics of IT, Advanced IT, Social Networking, and English Foundation.
