Job Description
Title: Director- Business Development
Location: NY/NJ
This individual will have responsibility for growing and
expanding our business within Media, Entertainment and Information Services
business. We are seeking an executive with strong industry reputation and
presence who can bring in new logos. This is a "hunter" role.
Essential Job Function and Duties:
At
least 10 years of experience selling IT and Business Process services to Media,
Entertainment and Information services companies.
Outsourcing
deal shaping and pricing expertise.
Helps
coordinate, participate and lead the sales pursuit process including phone
calls, customer presentation/meetings in person, video calls.
Work
closely in conjunction with practices and Delivery teams, develops new business
from new customers, and expand business with existing client relationships.
Manage sales strategies/plans to keep it consistent with the company’s
strategic objectives.
Ability
to maintain strong sales management focus during sales cycles.
Effectively
utilize PCs, and various desktop software applications such as Word, Excel and
PowerPoint. Ability to do research on companies using Internet search tools.
Ability
to build vision. Understand and define requirements, design practical
solutions, develop supporting business cases, business plan and implement solutions
for clients.
Strong
leadership, communication (verbal and written), analytical, and problem-solving
skills.
Achieve
lead generation, prospecting and other sales management goals designed to build
an optimal sales pipeline.
Performs
necessary sales administration to make sure all parties are kept up-to-date on
sales activities. Include participating in weekly and periodic Go-To-Market
team meetings, and keeping CRM (Sales Logix) and other sales reporting tools
up-to-date.
This
position is located in the Northeast, preferably in the NY/NJ region.
Travel
Regular and expeditious travel throughout the United States, Canada and
occasionally overseas is required to meet prospect, client and company needs
and timetables.
