Job Description
Job Category : Mainframe Developer
Level of Experience : 6 to 8 Years of Mainframe Maintenance and Support which include at least 3 years of Mainframe tool experience .
Role Responsibilities:
• Support mainframe related application
• Should be able to design, code and test for enhancement to application
• Work directly with business to gather business requirement
• Should be able to coordinate with offshore
• Creates new ideas and drives their implementation in order to improve application’s capabilities, performance, deployment, and stability
• Commitment to achieving projects goals and orientation to improve quality.
• Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Collaborates with other solutions/systems teams in order to align strategy plans Assist in development of software technical documentation.
Must have skills
• Willing to work on weekend and night working hours which will be compensated by taking off on other working hours.
• Should have good communications skills (Strong verbal and written communication) and able to co-ordinate with various project groups.
• Should have good experience (3-4 years) in various mainframe IBM CA Tools like (abendaid (Batch),Abendaid ( CICS),ACC - Application Component Catalog, ARCTL, Endevour, Fileaid, ISPF, REXX Tool , SAVRS , SDSF, Topaz, TSO, Xpeditor / CICS , Xpeditor / Batch
• Good skill on Cobol , JCL, DB2, VSAM.
Experience on Production\Test deployments of various Mainframe Projects using Endevor/ MVS.
