Job Description
The
primary responsibilities of this role are: Provide ongoing support for
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Marketing Automation Platform). Candidate should
possess Marketing Automation/ Digital Marketing best practice knowledge as
well as ‘hands-on’ development of emails, journeys, and automations. This
individual will be working in partnership with the business on the execution
of various marketing campaigns and provide technical expertise and guidance.
II.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
RESPONSIBILITIES:
·
Support
implementation of Marketing Automation Platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
·
Define and explain
technical requirements for marketing strategies, plans, and processes.
·
Involved in
maintenance and/or enhancement of campaigns and the marketing database
including design of various data integration solutions.
·
Ensure that
marketing data integration solutions are consistent with enterprise data
strategy.
·
Support the various
governance requirements for the use of the platform.
·
Prepare and conduct
testing to ensure correct functioning of the program designed.
·
Establish and
continuously improve standardized processes for the full scope of marketing
processes including lead qualification/scoring, lead nurturing, list and
segment management, and revenue based reporting.
·
Provide
input/recommendations where marketing strategy can be enhanced by current
technology.
·
Ensure all marketing
interactions are compliant with local and federal privacy and governance
laws.
·
Stay current with
marketing operations trends. Actively contribute to marketing operations
community.
·
Operationalize
analytics by integrating analytical results directly with operational systems
for faster decision making.
·
Extract data out of
the marketing automation platform and integrate with the existing Analytics
Data Store.
III.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
·
Experience
with Marketing Automation platforms such as Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget),
Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot or HubSpot.
·
Power
user experience with SAAS solutions such as salesforce.com highly desirable.
·
Excellent
communication skills to communicate with marketers on the business side.
·
Hands
on knowledge of Internet development technologies like HTML for email
template setup.
·
Ability
to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and track details in a fast-paced
environment effectively and efficiently.
·
Highly
self-motivated, highly productive, results-oriented, positive can-do
attitude, analytical, team player, detail-oriented, and organized.
·
Excellent
verbal and written communication - including the ability to interact
effectively with all levels of staff and management.
·
Strong
interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other team members, sales,
CRM, product development, customers, etc.
·
A
proven record, strong knowledge and experience with Marketing Automation
technology platforms (preferably Marketing Cloud) required.
·
Track
record of supporting successful demand generation programs with breadth of
knowledge from marketing databases, segmentation, email execution, lead
processes, reporting analysis.
·
Developed
