Project Manager, Insurance Domain, Job #17039
Project Manager, Insurance Domain, Atlanta, GA, full-time
multiple openings (Job #17039). Plan, initiate, and manage information
technology (IT) projects within the Insurance Domain. Lead and guide technical
staff in the design, development and implementation of Asset Data Management
solutions using Oracle PL/SQL; Manage design and architecture of current system
changes and new components using PL/SQL Oracle SQL, SQL Developer and SQL*Plus.
Manage client relations and knowledge sharing regarding new technologies;
project cost estimation and allocate professional resources; plan and direct
execution of change management for production deployment; and identify areas
for implementation of automation. Plan project stages and assess business
implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards,
and cost targets are met. Employer’s HQ is in Atlanta, GA; periodic relocation
and/or travel may be required to various unanticipated work sites in the U.S.
Requires: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science,
Engineering, or a related field and three years of experience in software
engineering or development or a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree
in Computer Science, Engineering , or a related field and five years of
experience in software engineering or development. Minimum three years of
experience with PL/SQL Oracle, SQL, SQL Developer and SQL*Plus. Experience to
include support of Asset Data Management solutions.
