Job description
As an Automation Test Engineer, this team member will be working as a developer for various automation projects including but not limited to performance testing, automating API/Web Service testing, automating UI testing, developing various tools and frameworks. They must have the skills needed to understand the business process flow, and model the functional, performance/load test scenarios, development of test scripts using various tools like Coded UI, Selenium, J-meter, Soasta’s CloudTest, and any custom coded solution.

Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements:
• Atleast 8 years of experience developing test automation or combination of development and test automation
• Hands on experience in one or more major programming languages: JAVA, C#, C++,
• Good understanding of object oriented concepts
• Strong experience on Automation frameworks design and development from scratch
• Hands on experience on test automation of APIs (SOAP and REST services)
• Hands-on experience of developing scripts, designing test scenarios, test execution, monitoring, analyzing results and reporting results.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated QA experience in a SDET or QAE role.
• Hands on experience in Selenium, Soap UI or similar tools.
• Proficient with developer tools and IDEs, such as Visual studio, Eclipse/Intellij
• Experience working with any source control. Git/TFS
• Experience with unit, integration, performance and security testing
• Knowledge on deployment automation, continuous integration, build automation tools (TFS, Jenkins, TeamCity).
• Ability to do effective communications with all stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Conversant with Agile/Scrum development methodology.

Wish to Have
• Experience working in Development with C#, ASP.NET or in Java environment.
• Experience with one of tools like Soasta’s CloudTest, JMeter , Blazemeter etc
• Experience with New Relic Application Monitoring Tool
• Experience with GIT is preferable.
