Job Description
Support system administration for virtual and physical enterprise servers. Maintain responsibility for operating, maintaining, and sustaining enterprise physical and virtual servers supporting enterprise intelligence mission applications, business systems.
Experience in Microsoft server systems administration with physical and virtual servers.
Experience with supporting VMware products.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills (able to run network and application profilers/traces).
Experience in supporting application (built in-house and vendor applications).
Able to demonstrate high level of professionalism and leadership skills.
Understanding of Microsoft technologies (like .NET, SQL…and other).
Experience in managing IIS, hosting and managing web applications.
Maintain compliance with all corporate, division, department and SOX policies and procedures throughout the operations group
To perform the job successfully, an individual must demonstrate the following competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related.
Minimum of 5 years of server administration in a similar capacity that includes responsibility for enterprise level servers in a large network , storage devices and overall Active Directory responsibility.
Excellent time-management, communication, technical writing, presentations, and organizational skills required.
Demonstrated ‘can do’ drive and attitude.
