NIIT Technologies is looking for Business Analysts with financial background having at least 5-6 years of working on projects in Banking and Finance.
Experience of working with InvestOne/Sungard would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities:
Works individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements.
Expertly researches and documents client needs, technology or regulations related to system design, enhancement and acquiring hardware or software that will impact multiple platforms and/or applications.
Defines product scope, objectives and requirements. Defines specifications and data models for product development and testing.
Creates detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
Review, maintain, and assist with controls setup by business to track data changes. Works closely with Dev/QA team in validating the requirements.
Writes test plans and test cases to ensure enhancements made to applications meet client needs and application integrity is maintained.
Conducts a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness and acceptance tests.
Conducts tests using client data to be certain client needs will be met.
May play a key role in training client and technical support personnel on enhancements, new systems or procedures. Training may be delivered one-on-one as knowledge transfer or in a classroom setting depending on number in audience and client preference.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
Should be well versed with Agile development model. Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence would be an added advantage.
Knowledge and Experience requirements:
5+ years of demonstrated business analyst or related experience conducting needs analyses, gathering and developing business requirements from clients, working with developers, etc.
Bachelor s degree in business, information systems, computer science, mathematics or the equivalent combination of education, training, or related work experience
Experience working with external clients
Banking experience is highly desired
Agile Software Development Methodology experience is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
