Relevance of the role:
This
job involves owning the solution design for NIIT’s Banking and Financial
Services (BFS) clients. It involves dealing with BD/Sales/Practice teams and
other functions like digital, analytics, legal, pricing, Service Design
Organization to build the most relevant and transformational solutions for our
clients.
Responsibilities:
Own
the solution design for key BFS deals
In-depth knowledge of Cash
Equity, Fixed Income Securities Financing from a front, middle back-office perspective.
Work
with internal teams to build the solution proposal
Front
end along with BD/Sales and contribute to deal conversion
Good
knowledge of Cash, Derivative Financing products (e.g. Cash, Repo,
Stock Loan, Interest Rate Swap, CFD, Equity Swaps).
Be aware of market trends/changes/competitive landscape
Able to work independently in a cross-cultural
environment, panning different time zones
Deal with CXO level and their second line to sell our
value proposition
Continuously come up with innovative solutions
Front end discussions with BD/Sales and be involved
with direct conversion of deal
Demonstrate thought leadership
Stay up to speed with the changes
Understand the evolving BFS landscape, emergence of new
Fintech/non-traditional players, impact of digital and analytics
Position will report into the EVP, BFS
Qualifications:
Master’s
Degree preferred and Consulting experience
Experience
in banking financial services industry or with providers
Banking
domain expertise; global Consumer/Retail/ Capital Banking – if any deep
experience in specific products and/or functional areas like Wealth Management
would be highly preferred
Technological
Acumen; digital experience or exposure (digital transformation, RPA, AI,
machine learning, data science)
Consultative
skills; focused on problem-solving, we end up working with a range of things
starting with straight fenced-in (highly defined) to very wide open
collaboration with little definition (ambiguous relationship based engagements
that then drill down over time to actual solutions design)
Intimate
familiarity with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and the overall ability to present and
be credible in front of various audiences both internally and externally
